For a tiny Swedish automaker, Koenigsegg seems to have a lot planned for the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. In addition to the company’s tease for the Agera RS in one of its press conference invitations to the Swiss event, a second one suggests something potentially even more powerful there.
The single page posted on Facebook doesn’t exactly overwhelm the reader with details. It simply says “Regera Koenigsegg Megacar Unveil” and the show info. Thankfully, the brand clarifies in the post that Regera is a Swedish transitive verb meaning to reign over or govern.
Koenigsegg dubbed the Agera One:1 as the world’s first megacar at last year’s Geneva show because of its one megawatt of power (1,341 horsepower). This announcement definitely suggests something new in the works, possibly with even more grunt, that is hoping to reign over the supercar world, which, we might add, would include such high-power exotics as the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder. Sounds intriguing, no?
